‘강원 RED FRYS 2026’과 함께하는 영웅회복 프로그램…음악으로 전하는 감사와 응원

가수 지드래곤(G-DRAGON)이 설립한 저스피스재단이 음악을 통한 사회공헌 활동을 이어간다. 저스피스재단은 힙합 페스티벌 ‘강원 RED FRYS 2026’과 협력해 국가와 국민의 안전을 위해 헌신하는 제복 공무원 300명에게 공연 관람 기회를 제공한다.

저스피스재단과 RED FRYS는 오는 10월 24일 강원특별자치도 강릉 경포해변 중앙광장에서 개최되는 ‘강원 RED FRYS 2026’에서 ‘RED FRYS 영웅회복 프로그램’을 진행한다고 21일 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 국방부와 경찰청 등 관계 기관을 통해 강원 지역에서 복무 중인 군인과 경찰공무원, 해양경찰 등 총 300명을 초청하는 방식으로 운영된다. 공연 티켓을 지원해 평소 국민의 안전을 책임지는 이들이 일상에서 잠시 벗어나 음악과 함께 휴식과 재충전의 시간을 가질 수 있도록 마련됐다.

이번 초청은 저스피스재단의 주요 공익사업인 ‘영웅회복’의 일환이다. 재단은 국민의 생명과 안전을 지키는 제복 공무원과 가족들의 마음건강 및 회복을 지원하는 활동을 지속해 왔다.

특히 2025년부터 소방공무원과 가족들을 위한 예술치유 프로그램을 추진한 데 이어, 이번에는 군인과 경찰, 해양경찰 등으로 지원 대상을 확대했다. 강원랜드 역시 기존 ‘영웅쉼터 프로그램’에 참여했던 강원 지역 제복 공무원들의 초청에 협력하며 프로그램의 취지에 힘을 보탰다.

저스피스재단과 RED FRYS 측은 평범한 일상의 평화가 보이지 않는 곳에서 헌신하는 이들의 노력으로 지켜지고 있다는 점을 강조하며, 이번 공연이 그들에게 감사와 응원을 전하고 잠시나마 즐거움과 재충전의 시간이 되기를 바란다고 밝혔다.

페스티벌을 기획·제작하는 프론트로(FRONTROW) 역시 이번 협력을 통해 RED FRYS가 단순한 음악 공연을 넘어 사람과 지역을 연결하고, 사회를 위해 헌신하는 이들에게 긍정적인 에너지를 전달하는 문화 플랫폼으로 성장하기를 기대한다고 전했다.

한편, ‘강원 RED FRYS 2026’에는 다이나믹 듀오, 범키, 그리(GREE), 브라운티거, 마이노스&허클베리피를 비롯해 한해, 슬리피, 치타, 퍼핏보이(Puffitboi), 맹그로브(Mangrove) 등 국내 힙합 아티스트들이 출연한다.

오는 24일 강릉 경포해변 중앙광장에서 펼쳐지는 이번 페스티벌은 음악과 지역, 라이프스타일을 결합한 문화 행사로, 가을 바다를 배경으로 다양한 힙합 무대를 선보일 예정이다.

G-DRAGON’s JusPeace Foundation Invites 300 Service Members and Officers to Hip-Hop Festival

Partnering with RED FRYS 2026, the foundation expands its recovery initiative through music, appreciation, and cultural experiences.

The JusPeace Foundation, established by K-pop artist G-DRAGON, is continuing its commitment to social contribution through music. In partnership with the hip-hop festival Gangwon RED FRYS 2026, the foundation will provide complimentary festival admission to 300 uniformed public servants dedicated to protecting public safety.

On October 21, the JusPeace Foundation and RED FRYS announced the launch of the “RED FRYS Heroes Recovery Program,” scheduled to take place during the festival on October 24 at Gyeongpo Beach Central Plaza in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.

Organized in coordination with institutions including South Korea’s Ministry of National Defense and National Police Agency, the initiative will invite 300 military personnel, police officers, and coast guard officers serving in the Gangwon region.

Through complimentary concert tickets, the program aims to offer participants an opportunity to step away from their demanding responsibilities and enjoy a moment of relaxation and renewal through live music.

The initiative is part of the JusPeace Foundation’s ongoing “Heroes Recovery” project, which supports the emotional well-being and recovery of uniformed public servants and their families.

Since 2025, the foundation has organized arts-based healing programs for firefighters and their families. Its latest collaboration with RED FRYS broadens that support to military personnel, police officers, and coast guard officers. Kangwon Land has also contributed by helping invite participants associated with its existing Heroes Shelter Program.

The JusPeace Foundation and RED FRYS emphasized that the peace and security people experience in everyday life are sustained by individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes. They expressed hope that the festival would serve as an opportunity to recognize their dedication while offering a welcome moment of enjoyment and renewal.

FRONTROW, the organizer and producer of RED FRYS, also highlighted its ambition to develop the event beyond a traditional music festival. Through collaborations such as this, the company hopes to create a cultural platform that connects music, communities, and people while sharing positive energy with those who serve society.

Meanwhile, Gangwon RED FRYS 2026 will feature a lineup of Korean hip-hop artists, including Dynamicduo, Bumkey, GREE, Brown Tigger, Minos & Huckleberry P, Hanhae, Sleepy, Cheetah, Puffitboi, and Mangrove.

Taking place on October 24 at Gyeongpo Beach Central Plaza in Gangneung, the festival will bring together music, local culture, and lifestyle against the backdrop of Korea’s autumn coastline.
