지난 10월 11일, 서울 YES24 원더로크홀에서 열린 ‘2026 Shi Shi [The Taste Of…]
OST ‘Someday or One Day’로도 잘 알려져 있다.
이어 ‘Tidy It Up’, ‘LA-LI-LA-TA’, ‘jagi’, ‘Addicted’, ‘Falling in Love’ 등으로 공연의 흐름을 확장했다.
공연 후반부는 ‘개똥벌레’, ‘0+0’, ‘Going Through’, ‘Lucid Dream’, ‘Bullet’, ‘Love Me Like A Liar’로 이어졌다.
‘The Taste Of…’

Shi Shi: A 12-Year Musical Journey Shines in Seoul
2026 Shi Shi ‘The Taste Of…’ World Tour in Seoul
Different languages, genres, and emotions came together on one stage. Singer-songwriter Shi Shi (Son Sung-hee), who has built her career primarily in Taiwan, held her first solo concert in South Korea, sharing 12 years of musical exploration with audiences in Seoul.
Held on October 11 at YES24 Wonderloch Hall in Seoul, the 2026 Shi Shi [The Taste Of…] World Tour @ Seoul offered a glimpse into both the musical identity Shi Shi has cultivated over the years and the artistic direction she continues to pursue. Following performances in major Chinese-speaking cities, including Chengdu, Beijing, and Shanghai, the Seoul stop marked a particularly meaningful moment for both the artist and her Korean fans.
Born and raised in South Korea, Shi Shi began her music career in Taiwan, where she gradually established a distinctive artistic identity. Rooted in R&B and soul while drawing influences from pop, rock, and jazz, her music moves fluidly between Korean, Mandarin, and English. Her artistry has earned recognition at Taiwan’s prestigious Golden Melody Awards, where she received Best Mandarin Album and Best Mandarin Female Singer honors. In South Korea, she is also widely recognized for “Someday or One Day,” a song featured on the soundtrack of the Taiwanese drama of the same name.
At the heart of the concert was The Taste Of…, the title of both her EP released in July and her world tour. The project explores the many emotions that shape our lives, comparing them to different flavors. Joy and sorrow, love and loss may seem contradictory, yet together they form the complexity of human experience. Much like the ellipsis in the title, the meaning remains open-ended, inviting listeners to complete the story through their own memories and emotions.
The concert opened with an introductory video before Shi Shi took the stage with “Two of One.” The opening sequence continued with “INFP,” “Flyaway,” “Empty Track,” “Infected,” and “Guilty,” introducing the breadth of her musical repertoire. Each song brought a different atmosphere and emotional texture, revealing an artist whose sound resists easy categorization.
The performance then moved through “Tidy It Up,” “LA-LI-LA-TA,” “jagi,” “Addicted,” and “Falling in Love,” further expanding the musical landscape of the evening. “Falling in Love,” a track from her latest EP, offered a glimpse into her current creative direction. Rather than simply presenting a collection of familiar songs, the setlist traced the evolution of an artist whose musical identity has continued to grow and transform.
One of the evening’s notable highlights came with the Korean-language performances and a special guest appearance by singer-songwriter Lee Jin Ah. Shi Shi performed “Tteokbokki,” a song inspired by memories of her school years in South Korea, before welcoming Lee Jin Ah to the stage for “Goodbye Spring” and “Stairs.”
Known for her distinctive vocals and jazz-influenced musical style, Lee Jin Ah brought another dimension to the concert. The meeting of two singer-songwriters, each with a unique artistic identity, created a meaningful moment within the Seoul performance. The Korean-language segment also highlighted the multicultural influences that have shaped Shi Shi’s musical journey.
The latter half of the concert featured “Firefly,” “0+0,” “Going Through,” “Lucid Dream,” “Bullet,” and “Love Me Like A Liar.” Together, these performances reflected the emotional range and stylistic versatility of Shi Shi’s discography. Conversations between songs also provided moments of connection, allowing the audience to engage with the artist beyond her music.
Following the main set, Shi Shi returned for an encore, performing “Remembered” before closing the evening with “Someday or One Day.” As one of her most recognizable songs among Korean listeners, the track served as a fitting finale to her first solo concert in South Korea. A song that helped introduce her voice to a wider Korean audience now marked the conclusion of a performance celebrating the journey that brought her to this stage.
What made the evening significant was not simply the fact that it was Shi Shi’s first solo concert in South Korea. It was an opportunity for an artist who began her career in Taiwan, established herself within the Mandarin-language music industry, and expanded her creative expression across languages and genres to share that journey directly with a Korean audience.
Above all, Shi Shi’s music speaks to the universality of emotion beyond linguistic and national boundaries. Whether expressed in Korean, Mandarin, or English, feelings of love, longing, uncertainty, and hope remain deeply relatable. Her ability to explore different musical styles while maintaining an unmistakable emotional sincerity is part of what has sustained her artistic appeal over the years.
Much like its title, The Taste Of… offered a rich spectrum of musical flavors that could not be defined by a single genre or emotion. The Seoul concert brought together 12 years of musical exploration and the stories she continues to tell, while offering a glimpse of the possibilities still ahead.
Her first solo concert in Seoul may have come to an end, but Shi Shi’s musical journey is far from over. And like the ellipsis in The Taste Of…, the next chapter of her story remains unwritten.
