글로벌 DJ 겸 프로듀서 ARGY와 아티스트 BIBI의 미발매 협업곡이 ‘EDC Korea 2026(Electric Daisy Carnival Korea 2026)’ 무대에서 처음 공개됐다.

지난 10월 4일 EDC Korea 2026 키네틱 필드(Kinetic Field)에서 진행된 ARGY의 공연 마지막 곡에는 BIBI와 공동 프로듀서 Alawn이 스페셜 게스트로 등장했다. 세 사람은 함께 무대에 올라 아직 정식 발매되지 않은 협업곡을 관객들에게 처음으로 선보였다.

이번 프로젝트의 시작은 지난 1월 서울에서 열린 ARGY의 앨범 프리미어로 거슬러 올라간다. 크리에이티브 콜라보레이션 에이전시 Blend Nexus Agency(BNA)는 지난 1월 20일 ARGY의 앨범 NEWORLD II를 정식 발매에 앞서 소개하는 ‘NEWORLD II PRIVATE PREMIERE’를 개최했다.

BNA는 프리미어에 앞서 ARGY에게 K-POP 아티스트와의 협업을 제안했고, ARGY 역시 이에 관심을 보였다. 이후 프로듀서 Alawn이 협업 파트너로 합류했으며, 행사 일정으로 약 일주일간 한국에 머문 ARGY와 첫 송캠프를 진행했다.

이 과정에서 여러 데모가 탄생했고, 그중 ARGY의 눈에 띈 곡이 ‘Adrenaline Junky’(가제)였다. 이후 Alawn이 곡의 분위기와 음색에 어울리는 보컬리스트로 BIBI를 제안하면서 ARGY, BIBI, Alawn 세 아티스트의 협업이 본격적으로 시작됐다.

세 사람은 이후 약 9개월 동안 곡을 발전시켜왔다. ARGY 특유의 일렉트로닉 사운드와 BIBI의 개성 있는 보컬, Alawn의 K-POP 프로덕션이 한 트랙 안에서 만난 결과물은 정식 발매에 앞서 이번 EDC Korea 무대를 통해 가장 먼저 관객들과 만났다.

Alawn은 이번 무대에 대해 “아직 미발매 곡이라 다듬어야 할 부분이 많지만, 이번 EDC에서 ARGY, BIBI와 함께 무대에 올라 이 곡을 처음 선보일 수 있어 영광”이라며 “긴 시간 동안 여러 변경을 거쳐온 만큼 각별한 협업”이라고 전했다.

프로젝트를 기획한 BNA 박희정 대표 역시 “최근 글로벌 DJ와 K-POP 아티스트의 협업이 활발해지는 가운데, 콜라보레이션 전문 기업으로서 BNA가 여기에 힘을 보탤 수 있어 기쁘다”고 밝혔다. 이어 ARGY에게 적합한 K-POP 프로듀서를 연결하고 한국 아티스트와의 협업까지 이어진 만큼 정식 발매 역시 기대된다고 덧붙였다.

현재 해당 협업곡은 추가 작업을 거쳐 정식 발매될 예정이다. 발매와 유통은 Alawn의 소속사 The Hello Group이 맡으며, 구체적인 발매 일정은 추후 공개된다.

Global DJ and producer ARGY has unveiled an unreleased collaboration with BIBI for the first time at EDC Korea 2026 (Electric Daisy Carnival Korea 2026).

During the closing track of ARGY’s set at the festival’s Kinetic Field stage on October 4, BIBI and co-producer Alawn made a special appearance, joining ARGY onstage to premiere the yet-to-be-released track in front of the festival audience.

The collaboration traces its beginnings back to Seoul earlier this year. On January 20, creative collaboration agency Blend Nexus Agency (BNA) hosted the “NEWORLD II PRIVATE PREMIERE,” an event presenting ARGY’s album NEWORLD II in Korea ahead of its official release.

Prior to the premiere, BNA proposed the idea of a collaboration between ARGY and a K-pop artist, an idea that immediately drew the producer’s interest. Producer Alawn later joined the project, and while ARGY was staying in Korea for approximately a week for the album premiere, the two held their first songwriting camp together.

Several demos emerged from the sessions, with one track in particular — tentatively titled “Adrenaline Junky” — catching ARGY’s attention. Alawn subsequently brought BIBI into the project, believing her distinctive vocal tone would complement the sound of the track, officially setting the three-way collaboration in motion.

Over the following nine months, the artists continued developing the song, bringing together ARGY’s electronic sound, BIBI’s unmistakable vocals, and Alawn’s K-pop production. Before its official release, the track was finally introduced to audiences for the first time at EDC Korea 2026.

“Although the song is still unreleased and there are parts we want to refine further, it was an honor to be able to perform it for the first time at EDC alongside ARGY and BIBI,” Alawn said. “It is a particularly meaningful collaboration because the track has gone through many changes over a long period of time.”

Heejung Park, CEO of Blend Nexus Agency, which initiated the project, also commented on the collaboration, noting the growing number of crossovers between global DJs and K-pop artists and expressing excitement about BNA’s role in bringing the artists together.

The track is currently undergoing further production ahead of its official release. Release and distribution will be handled by Alawn’s label, The Hello Group, with an official release date to be announced at a later time.
