김심야가 9월 4일 오후 5시, 새 정규앨범 ‘Dogma’의 26분 길이에 달하는 뮤직비디오를 사전 예고없이 깜짝 공개했다.
‘Dogma’의 뮤직비디오는 미술가이자 영화감독 ‘박찬경’이 연출했다. 이 뮤직비디오는 박찬경 작가가 자신의 그림과 영상을 편집하여 제작했다.
‘박찬경’은 영화와 현대미술을 오가며 작업해왔으며, ‘국립현대미술관’과 미국 ‘스미스소니언 국립아시아미술관’ 등 국내외 주요 미술관에서 개인전을 열었다. 또한 형제인 ‘박찬욱’ 감독과 함께 결성한 공동창작 프로젝트 ‘파킹찬스(PARKing CHANce)’를 통해 영화 작업을 이어왔고, 두 사람이 공동 연출한 단편영화 ‘파란만장(Night Fishing)’은 2011년 ‘베를린국제영화제’ 단편영화 부문 황금곰상을 수상했다. 2013년에는 다큐멘터리 ‘만신’을 연출하여 평단과 관객들의 호평을 받았다.
김심야의 6년 만의 정규앨범 ‘Dogma’는 오는 9월 9일 18시 전세계 모든 음원 플랫폼에서 발매한다. 사전판매가 종료된 ‘Dogma’의 피지컬 한정판 음반은 CD아닌 소형 스피커가 내장된 기기로 제작되었으며 판매 시작 이후 일부 판매처에서 일시 품절되기도 했다. 수량 한정으로 제작된 피지컬 음반 역시 9일부터 판매 재개된다.

On September 4 at 5 PM, Kim Ximya unexpectedly dropped a 26-minute music video for his new full-length album, Dogma, with no prior announcement.
The music video for Dogma was directed by artist and filmmaker Park Chan-kyong, who crafted it by editing his own paintings and video footage.
Park Chan-kyong has actively moved between the worlds of film and contemporary art, holding solo exhibitions at major domestic and international institutions, including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) and the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art. He has also continued his filmmaking career through PARKing CHANce, a joint creative project formed with his brother, director Park Chan-wook. Their co-directed short film Night Fishing won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival. In 2013, his documentary Manshin: Ten Thousand Spirits earned widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences.
Kim Ximya’s first full-length album in six years, Dogma, will be officially released on all global streaming platforms on September 9 at 6 PM. The limited physical edition—which replaced traditional CDs with a device featuring a built-in miniature speaker—sold out temporarily at select retailers during pre-orders. Sales for this limited-quantity physical album will resume on September 9.
