High-powered K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE accomplishes a new historic moment by breaking traditional track records. (G)I-DLE’s song ‘Nxde’, which was listed as one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Songs of 2022, ranked #39 on Mediabase’s Top 40 Radio airplay charts. In addition, the song debuted at #40 on this week’s Billboard Pop Airplay Chart. This is the group’s first entry on the chart. It creates significance in (G)I-DLE’s continuous power to showcase their appeal to the North American audience.
A US Top Radio Promoter says “(G)-I-DLE is the first Artist from an Independent label to enter the airplay charts on traditional top 40 with a non-English song.
