일본 R&B 씬을 대표하는 보컬리스트 요우시(Yo-Sea)가 두 번째 정규 앨범 'Beyond the Sea'의 흥행과 함께 생애 첫 아시아 투어를 개최하며 본격적인 글로벌 행보에 나선다.
지난 7월 28일 발매된 'Beyond the Sea'는 현지에서 뜨거운 반응을 얻으며 애플 뮤직 재팬 톱 앨범 차트 1위에 올랐다. 총 13개 트랙으로 구성된 이번 앨범에는 5lack, VaVa가 피처링으로 참여했으며, Aru-2, GooDee, Taka Perry, Ace Hashimoto, Matt Cab 등 다채롭고 화려한 프로듀서진이 합류해 완성도를 높였다.
오키나와 자탄 출신의 요우시는 2018년 데뷔 이후 스포티파이 '얼리 노이즈 2019', 하입비스트 '주목해야 할 25세 이하 아티스트 10인'에 선정되며 일찌감치 주목받았다. 소울풀한 보컬과 유려한 멜로디로 R&B와 힙합을 아우르는 그는 2023년 히트곡 'Moonlight'를 통해 아시아 전역에 탄탄한 팬덤을 형성했다. 또한 후지이 카제(Fujii Kaze)의 '타이니 데스크 콘서트 재팬' 백보컬 참여, 제프 하네다 단독 공연 및 전국 투어 매진, '후지 록 페스티벌 2026' 출연 등을 통해 독보적인 라이브 아티스트로서의 입지를 다졌다.
요우시는 팬들의 성원에 힘입어 올가을 서울, 타이베이, 방콕, 홍콩 등 4개 도시를 순회하는 첫 아시아 투어를 진행한다. 서울 공연은 오는 10월 9일 홍대 KT&G 상상마당 라이브홀에서 열릴 예정이다.
투어 소식과 함께 Aru-2가 프로듀싱하고 5lack이 피처링한 수록곡 "New Journey feat. 5lack"의 공식 뮤직비디오도 공개됐다.
마루야마 유다이(Yudai Maruyama) 감독이 연출을 맡은 이번 뮤직비디오는 요우시의 고향인 오키나와의 풍경을 배경으로 곡의 여유로운 분위기를 연출했다.
요우시는 이번 앨범과 아시아 투어를 통해 오키나와의 뿌리가 담긴 감각적인 R&B 사운드를 아시아 리스너들에게 선사할 예정이다.

Yo-Sea, a leading voice in Japan’s contemporary R&B scene, has officially announced his first-ever Asia tour following the success of his second full-length album, Beyond the Sea.
Released on July 28, Beyond the Sea quickly gained traction, reaching No. 1 on the Apple Music Japan Top Albums chart. The 13-track album features guest appearances by 5lack and VaVa, along with production from a stellar lineup including Aru-2, GooDee, Taka Perry, Ace Hashimoto, and Matt Cab.
Hailing from Chatan, Okinawa, Yo-Sea made his debut in 2018 and rapidly drew attention, earning spots on Spotify’s "Early Noise 2019" and Hypebeast’s "10 Under 25 Artists to Watch". Known for his soulful vocals and fluid melodies spanning R&B and hip-hop, he built a strong pan-Asian fanbase with his 2023 hit single "Moonlight".
He has since solidified his reputation as a premier live performer through his backing vocal participation in Fujii Kaze’s Tiny Desk Concerts JAPAN, sold-out solo shows at Zepp Haneda, nationwide tours, and an appearance at Fuji Rock Festival 2026.
In response to enthusiastic global support, Yo-Sea will kick off his Asia tour this autumn, visiting four major cities: Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. The Seoul concert is scheduled for October 9 at KT&G Sangsangmadang Live Hall in Hongdae.
Along with the tour announcement, Yo-Sea unveiled the official music video for "New Journey feat. 5lack," a key track produced by Aru-2. Directed by Yudai Maruyama—who previously directed Yo-Sea’s "Follow Me" music video—the visual captures the relaxed atmosphere of the track against the backdrop of Okinawa’s scenic landscapes.
Through his new album and debut Asia tour, Yo-Sea is poised to deliver his signature, Okinawa-rooted R&B sound to listeners across the region.
