英 애비로드서 완성된 윈터의 청량 록...'여름의 속도' 오늘(27일) 발매
 
그룹 에스파(aespa)의 윈터(WINTER)가 시원한 탄산수 보컬로 무더위를 날린다.
 
디지털 미디어 채널 딩고(dingo)와 윈터가 함께한 프로젝트 음원 '여름의 속도(Speed of Summer)'가 오늘(27일) 오후 6시 각종 온라인 음원 사이트를 통해 발매된다.
 
'여름의 속도'는 에너제틱한 밴드 사운드와 거침없이 내달리는 리듬이 어우러진 얼터너티브 펑크 록 장르의 곡이다. 라디오 볼륨을 높인 채 밤공기를 가르며 달리는 청춘의 한 장면을 그려냈으며 무더운 여름밤의 자유와 해방감을 생생하게 담았다.
 
윈터는 강렬한 밴드 사운드 위로 맑고 시원한 고음을 쏟아내며 짜릿함을 선사할 예정이다. 또한 "달빛 위를 달려가 여름의 속도로", "지금 이 순간이 우릴 반짝이게 해" 등 계절의 정취를 녹인 가사로 감성까지 더했다.
 
그간 에스파의 독보적인 '쇠 맛' 매력의 음악은 물론, 다양한 OST와 컬래버레이션 음원을 통해 섬세하고 따뜻한 보컬까지 폭넓게 선보여 온 윈터는, 이번 '여름의 속도'를 통해 청량한 에너지와 힘 있는 가창을 앞세워 록스타의 면모를 드러내며 한층 넓어진 음악적 스펙트럼을 증명할 전망이다.
 
특히 이번 곡은 영국 런던의 애비로드 스튜디오(Abbey Road Studios)에서 마스터링을 진행해 완성도를 높였다. 콜드플레이(Coldplay), 고릴라즈(Gorillaz), 팅 팅스(The Ting Tings) 등 세계적인 아티스트들과 작업한 엔지니어 제프 페시(Geoff Pesche)가 참여해 펑크 록 특유의 역동적인 질감을 선명하게 구현했다.

Winter’s Refreshing Rock Completed at the UK’s Abbey Road… 'Speed of Summer' Released Today (27th)

Winter of the group aespa is set to blow away the sweltering heat with her cool, sparkling vocals.  
The project single 'Speed of Summer,' a collaboration between Winter and the digital media channel dingo, will be released on various online music streaming platforms today (27th) at 6 PM KST.

'Speed of Summer' is an alternative punk rock track that combines an energetic band sound with an unstoppable, driving rhythm. Capturing a scene of youth speeding through the night air with the radio volume turned up, the song vividly conveys the freedom and liberation of a hot summer night.  
Over the powerful band sound, Winter pours out clear and cool high notes to deliver an exhilarating thrill. Additionally, lyrics imbued with the mood of the season, such as "Running on the moonlight at the speed of summer" and "This exact moment makes us shine," add a layer of emotional resonance.

Winter has previously showcased a broad range of vocal abilities—from aespa’s signature "metallic taste" music to delicate and warm vocals featured in various OSTs and collaborative tracks. Through 'Speed of Summer,' she is expected to showcase her rock star persona with refreshing energy and powerful vocals, proving her ever-expanding musical spectrum.  
Notably, the track was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, UK, to elevate its overall quality. Engineer Geoff Pesche—who has worked with world-renowned artists such as Coldplay, Gorillaz, and The Ting Tings—participated in the project, vividly realizing the dynamic texture unique to punk rock.

Winter and dingo's new refreshing punk rock track 'Speed of Summer' will be available on various online music streaming sites starting at 6 PM KST today (27th).
