청하는 26일 공식 SNS를 통해 새 디지털 싱글 'México(멕시코)'의 두 번째 콘셉트 포토를 공개했다.
공개된 이미지 속 청하는 에스닉한 착장으로 이국적인 무드를 드러내고 있다. 청하는 보다 편안한 무드와 고혹적인 눈빛, 매력적인 주근깨 메이크업을 완벽하게 소화하며 공개될 곡을 향한 궁금증을 자극하고 있다.
이에 앞서 청하는 두 번째 리릭 포스터도 공개하며 눈길을 끌었다. 리릭 포스터는 치명적이면서도 고독함이 느껴지는 청하의 모습과 함께 "너와 나 우리 떠나자, 멕시코로 떠나자, 어떤 곳으로 아무런 부담도, 압박도 없는 곳으로, 멕시코에서 모든 걸 잊고 사라지자"라는 가사가 스페인어로 적혀 있어 기대감을 고조시켰다.
또한 청하는 숏폼 영상도 잇달아 공개하며 신곡을 활용한 다양한 콘텐츠로 팬들과 소통했다. 영상은 청하가 편안한 스타일링으로 공항에서 비행기 탑승구를 향해 뛰어가는 장면으로 시작된다. 이어 멕시코로 순간이동하는 듯한 연출을 통해 멕시코에서 청하의 생동감 넘치는 모습을 그대로 녹여내며 팬들의 몰입감을 더했다.
'México'는 청하가 지난 2월 생일을 기념해 발표한 디지털 싱글 'Save me(세이브 미)' 이후 약 7개월 만에 발매하는 신곡이다. 반복되는 현실과 공허함 속에서도 모든 것을 내려놓고 아무도 자신을 모르는 곳으로 떠나, 새로운 자신과 삶을 마주하고자 하는 용기를 담아냈다.
청하의 새 디지털 싱글 'México'는 오는 9월 1일 오후 6시 각종 온라인 음원사이트를 통해 발매된다.

On the 26th, Chungha revealed the second set of concept photos for her new digital single 'México' via her official SNS.
In the released images, Chungha exudes an exotic mood in an ethnic outfit. Embracing a more comfortable vibe, seductive gaze, and charming freckle makeup, she heightens curiosity about the upcoming release.
Prior to this, Chungha also drew attention by sharing a second lyric poster. Capturing her fatal yet solitary presence, the poster boosted excitement with Spanish lyrics translated as: “You and I, let's leave, let's go to Mexico. To a place without any burden or pressure, let's forget everything and disappear in Mexico.”
Furthermore, Chungha has interacted with fans through a series of short-form videos featuring the new track. The video begins with Chungha, casually dressed, running toward a boarding gate at the airport. It then transitions into a scene where she appears to teleport to Mexico, seamlessly capturing her lively self in Mexico to immerse fans even deeper.
'México' marks Chungha's new release in approximately seven months since 'Save me,' a digital single released in February to celebrate her birthday. The track embodies the courage to break free from repeating reality and emptiness, travel to a place where no one knows her, and face a new self and life.
