Expansion of Refreshing Vibe Proven by The Wind... 

Birth of 'Refreshing Mischevious Boys' Group The Wind is rewriting the formula for refreshing charm. On July 29, The Wind released their 4th mini album 'Second Wind : S#00' and made a comeback after 1 year and 2 months. This album is not merely a new release, but a new beginning that The Wind directly defined as 'Round 2'. Rather than a restart returning to a familiar starting line, it carries the meaning of a 'level up' leaping to the next stage based on the experiences accumulated so far. In particular, this album holds special meaning as it is the first result presented under a collaboration system with Pangstar Entertainment. In a new environment, while maintaining their existing identity, they attempted changes in music and concept, opening a new chapter for The Wind. The most noticeable change is the music. The title track 'Party Like A Rock Star' is a pop-rock track combining funky guitar riffs with EDM sound, adding a more free and raw energy to The Wind's existing refreshing sentiment. In the music video, playful direction such as sprinting down hallways and roaming the classroom like a playground maximized their mischievous charm. On top of this, with free-spirited performances and sporty styling added, they completed a new character as 'refreshing miscreants' beyond the existing 'refreshing boys'. This has a different texture from a simple concept change. While sharp image transformations recently became like a formula in the K-pop market, The Wind did not discard their greatest strength, 'refreshing charm'. Instead, they chose growth in a way that expands their refreshing vibe by adding free-spiritedness and confidence to their existing pure and bright energy. At the center of this change is Block B member Park Kyung. Park Kyung took charge of lyrics, composition, and production for all songs on this album, presenting a new direction for The Wind. Park Kyung's signature musical color—which has contained bouncy melodies, sensible sound, and honest emotions—naturally blended with The Wind's inherent charm, completing a new identity called 'Refreshing Hip'. 

This album, completed together by Pangstar Entertainment and Park Kyung, is the result that musically shows The Wind's 'Round 2' most clearly. This change continues throughout the album overall. From 'With the Wind', 'That's Smoove!', 'Shiver', to 'Back and Forth', refreshing sentiment and hip vibes were woven into a single story. Although the genres of the included tracks differ, keeping the identity of 'refreshing' as the central axis is also a characteristic of this album. Free-spirited energy penetrating the whole album and colorful genre attempts show that The Wind is expanding their own musical world beyond just being 'refreshing idols'. Market reactions are also positive. Immediately after release, the title track 'Party Like A Rock Star' entered the Melon HOT 100 chart, gathering listeners' attention, and through music shows and various stages, they are presenting a more relaxed and confident performance, imprinting the presence of The Wind who grew into 'refreshing miscreants'. Refreshing charm is no longer the exclusive property of fresh boys. While maintaining their own identity of refreshing charm, The Wind added new energy and musical attempts, creating another formula called 'refreshing miscreants'. Attention is focused on whether The Wind, who started a powerful Round 2 with 'Second Wind', can establish themselves as a new standard for refreshing idols in the future.
