세계적인 록 밴드 린킨 파크(LINKIN PARK)가 지난 25일, 다큐멘터리 영화 <언섀터(UNSHATTER)>의 전체 사운드트랙 앨범 [Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)]를 전격 발매했다. 이를 기념해 밴드의 멤버이자 영화의 연출을 맡은 조 한(Joe Hahn)이 한국을 찾아 국내 팬들과 특별한 만남을 갖는다.
이번 앨범은 린킨 파크의 7년 만의 대대적인 귀환을 알린 'From Zero' 월드 투어 중, 2024년 브라질 상파울루에서 펼쳐진 폭발적인 라이브 실황을 담았다. 타이틀곡 'Heavy Is the Crown'을 비롯해 총 20곡으로 구성되어 현장의 뜨거운 에너지와 감동을 음악으로 이어간다.
프로모션을 위해 한국을 찾은 조 한은 지난 29일 열린 프리미어 상영회에 예고 없이 등장해 관객들의 뜨거운 환호를 받았다.
이어 개봉 당일인 30일에는 팬사인회를 통해 한국 팬들과 직접 만나며, 인기 라디오 프로그램 '배철수의 음악캠프'에도 출연할 예정이다.
한편, 30일 개봉하는 영화 <언섀터>는 2017년 프론트맨 체스터 베닝턴(Chester Bennington)의 사망 이후 밴드가 지나온 묵직한 귀환의 여정을 조명한 작품이다. 상실을 딛고 회복해 나가는 치유의 시간과 함께, 새 멤버 에밀리 암스트롱(Emily Armstrong)과 콜린 브리튼(Colin Brittain)이 합류해 다시 완벽한 호흡으로 무대에 서기까지의 과정을 밀도 있게 그렸다.
또한 한국계 멤버 조 한이 직접 메가폰을 잡아 밴드 역사상 가장 특별하고 진정성 있는 순간을 기록했으며, 러닝타임 전체가 ScreenX 포맷으로 제작된 최초의 영화다. 영화는 30일과 10월 3일 양일간 CGV 강남, 대구, 대전터미널, 서면, 영등포, 왕십리, 용산아이파크몰 등 전국 주요 특별관에서 상영된다.

World-renowned rock band Linkin Park released the full soundtrack album [Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)] for their documentary film UNSHATTER on the 25th. To commemorate the release, member and film director Joe Hahn visited Korea to connect directly with fans.
The album captures the explosive live performance in São Paulo, Brazil, recorded during the band's 'From Zero' world tour—marking Linkin Park's grand return after seven years. Featuring 20 tracks, including the lead single "Heavy Is the Crown," the album preserves the fiery energy of the live venue and extends the film's emotion into music.
Joe Hahn, who visited Korea for promotion, made an unannounced surprise appearance at the premiere screening on the 29th, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
On the release date (30th), he holds a fan signing event and is scheduled to appear on MBC FM4U's popular radio program Bae Chul-soo's Music Camp.
Meanwhile, the documentary film UNSHATTER, releasing on the 30th, highlights the band's profound journey back to the stage following the loss of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. It intimately portrays their healing process over time, along with the joining of new members Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain as they reunite on stage in flawless harmony.
Directed by Korean-American member Joe Hahn, the film captures the most genuine and meaningful moments in the band's history. It also marks the first-ever feature film produced entirely in the ScreenX format. UNSHATTER will screen on the 30th and October 3rd at major CGV theaters including Gangnam, Daegu, Daejeon Terminal, Seomyeon, Yeongdeungpo, Wangsimni, and Yongsan I-Park Mall.
