RSK.
〈Girl Rules〉
RSK.
RSK.
RSK.
뷰: “제 원칙은 ‘흐름에 몸을 맡기자(Go with the flow)’예요.
RSK.
RSK.
RSK.
〈Girl Rules〉

Beyond Girl Rules: The Six Faces Behind the Story
Milk, Love, Namtan, Film, View, and Mim on Finding Happiness, Staying True to Themselves, and the Actresses They Hope to Become
The story of Girl Rules may have reached its conclusion, but the journeys of the six actresses who brought its characters to life are far from over.
Airing from March to June, the Thai drama series introduced audiences to a world of complex relationships, distinct personalities, and emotional discoveries. Milk Pansa as Shasha, Love Pattranite as Gorya, Namtan Tipnaree as Prim, Film Rachanun as Bambi, View Benyapa as Min, and Mim Rattanawadee as Praew each brought their own presence to the screen.
Following the series, the cast embarked on a fan meeting tour across Asia, visiting Seoul, Singapore, Macau, and Taipei before concluding their journey in Manila. Beyond their on-screen chemistry, the three Thai GL (Girls’ Love) pairings—MilkLove, NamtanFilm, and ViewMim—have continued to connect with audiences through their shared experiences.
As this chapter comes to a close, Rolling Stone Korea sits down with the six actresses to explore the people behind their characters, the lessons they have learned, the everyday moments that make them happy, and the legacies they hope to build over the next decade.
Getting to Know the Six Actresses Beyond the Screen
RSK: To begin, could each of you introduce yourselves to readers who may not be familiar with you yet? How would you describe yourselves?
Namtan: “Hi, I’m Namtan, and I play Prim in Girl Rules. One interesting thing about me is that I’m naturally a very funny person, even though I often appear in more serious, dramatic series.”
Film: “Hi, I’m Film Rachanun, and I play Bambi. I feel like I have many different sides to my personality, and different sides come out depending on who I’m spending time with.”
Mim: “Hi, I’m Mim Rattanawadee, and I play Praew. I often appear in horror movies, but in real life, I’m actually terrified of ghosts!”
View: “Hi, I’m View, and I play Min. I really enjoy expressing emotions through my facial expressions.”
Love: “Hi, I’m Love, and I play Gorya. I might look sweet and gentle on the outside, but I actually love extremely spicy food.”
Milk: “Hi, I’m Milk, and I play Shasha. She’s a character whose energy is incredibly important. If I don’t fully get into that mindset, it’s difficult to bring her to life. But once I find that energy, she gives off this high-fashion, Fashion Week kind of vibe. It’s really about finding the confidence and energy that define Shasha.”
What Girl Rules Taught Them
RSK: You starred in the highly anticipated series Girl Rules. How did the experience help you grow, both as an actress and as an individual?
Namtan: “I learned what it really means to work together as a team. At first, I wasn’t sure what the dynamic of an all-female cast would be like. But as we spent more time together, we developed genuine mutual respect and understanding. Facing new challenges together also gave us a shared sense of responsibility. It almost felt like going back to an all-girls school.”
RSK: The series explores complicated relationships and puts the bonds between its characters to the test. Did portraying these stories teach you anything new about human relationships or the people around you?
Film: “Playing Bambi helped me understand human nature on a much deeper level. It taught me not to judge a book by its cover, because you never really know what someone has been through to make them act the way they do. Every choice a person makes is shaped by their past experiences, and those experiences make us who we are today.”
The Rules They Live By
RSK: Since the series is called Girl Rules, do you have any personal rules or principles that guide your everyday lives? They can be serious beliefs or even small habits.
Milk: “No matter how busy I am with work, I always make sure to find some time during the day to rest and simply be free.”
Love: “I work really hard at what I do, so I believe it’s important to reward myself for that effort. It doesn’t have to be anything big. Sometimes it’s buying something I’ve wanted for a while or treating myself to a delicious meal.”
View: “My rule is to go with the flow. Whatever happens, I try to face it with sincerity.”
Mim: “I tend to overthink things, so I remind myself that if something is beyond my control, I need to let it go. It’s as simple as that.”
Happiness in the Little Things
RSK: In previous interviews, you’ve spoken about wanting to bring happiness to your fans. But what about your own happiness? What are the little moments in everyday life that bring you joy?
Namtan: “For me, happiness comes from simple things. I want to spend quality time with myself, be with my family, play with my dogs, and most importantly, be completely myself.”
Milk: “My happiness is similar to Namtan’s. On my days off, I just want to do whatever I genuinely feel like doing, whether that’s going to a café, relaxing, or spending time with friends. And I know our fans feel happy when they see us happy and getting the rest we need.”
Film: “Happiness, for me, is feeling at peace with myself. It’s also seeing something I’ve worked really hard on turn out exactly the way I imagined.”
Namtan: “There’s something else that makes me happy, too. I love seeing our fans living their own lives to the fullest—traveling, discovering new experiences, and enjoying the world around them.”
Love: “I find happiness in seeing our fans’ reactions. Reading their kind, sweet comments and knowing they’re following our journey feels like the greatest reward for all the effort we put into filming.”
View: “My definition of happiness is living without worry. It’s about not being consumed by other people’s judgments, not dwelling on negative thoughts, and simply feeling free from those concerns.”
Mim: “For me, happiness is like recharging my batteries so I can feel fully energized and like myself again. It’s enjoying good food with the people I love. It’s also seeing our fans support us every step of the way, allowing us to grow together through every performance and show.”
Milk: “Another important part of happiness for me is not being confined by other people’s expectations or judgments. I hope our fans can celebrate the opportunities I receive and continue supporting me for who I really am. I think the most meaningful kind of support is the kind that allows us to grow while staying true to ourselves.”
Different Cities, Different Expressions of Love
RSK: You’ve recently traveled across Asia for fan meetings, including a stop in South Korea. What was it like performing and connecting with fans from different countries? Were there any particularly memorable moments?
Film: “Fans everywhere bring so much excitement and energy! These days, I don’t go into events with fixed expectations, because the fans always show up and give us so much love and support. Every city and every country has its own unique charm and energy.”
Namtan: “Every country has its own culture and personality. Each audience has a different way of expressing excitement and support, and I find those differences really charming.”
How Do They Want to Be Remembered in Ten Years?
RSK: Finally, when someone hears your name ten years from now, what’s the first thing you hope comes to mind? How would you like to be remembered?
Milk: “I want people to remember the name Milk Pansa, because there’s only one of me!”
Film: “Ten years from now, I want to be remembered as a truly dedicated actress—someone with dimples who could take on any character and give 100 percent to every role.”
Namtan: “When I watch an actress I really admire, I think, ‘Wow, her acting is incredible!’ Ten years from now, I hope people say the same thing when they hear the name Namtan Tipnaree. Even if they don’t say it out loud, I’d love for them to have that genuinely amazed reaction when they watch me. (Laughs)”
Film: “Because she’s the real deal.”
Namtan: “We don’t know what slang or expressions people will be using ten years from now. But whatever words they use to describe someone who’s truly outstanding, I hope my name will be associated with them. I want to be remembered as one of the best at what I do.”
Mim: “I want to be recognized as a versatile actress who respects the craft and approaches every role with complete dedication.”
Love: “I want to be a small source of inspiration in people’s everyday lives and work. I hope hearing my name might inspire the next generation.”
View: “That’s a difficult question for me, because I’m someone who prefers to live in the present and focus on making today the best it can be, rather than planning too far ahead. But if I imagine myself ten years from now, I hope people remember me as an actress who always gave her best to every role. I’d be happy if my work continued to leave a positive impression and people remembered the sincerity and effort I put into what I do.”
Six Names, and Stories Still Unfolding
Throughout the conversation, each actress offered a different perspective on what it means to be herself. For some, it meant learning to go with the flow. For others, it was about finding small ways to reward their hard work, embracing freedom from expectations, or simply enjoying time with loved ones.
Their definitions of happiness were different, as were their visions of the future. Yet beneath those differences was a shared desire: to continue growing as actresses without losing sight of who they are.
The final scene of Girl Rules may have already played, but the stories of the six women behind its characters are still unfolding. Beyond the faces audiences have come to know on screen lies the promise of everything they have yet to become.
