아이브(IVE: 안유진, 가을, 레이, 장원영, 리즈, 이서)가 북미 투어를 성공적으로 마쳤다.

아이브는 지난 9일(현지시간) 캐나다 밴쿠버 로저스 아레나(Rogers Arena)에서 두 번째 월드 투어 '쇼 왓 아이 엠(SHOW WHAT I AM)'을 열고 북미 공연의 화려한 피날레를 장식했다. 밴쿠버에서 처음으로 단독 공연을 펼친 아이브는 탄탄한 라이브와 퍼포먼스, 현지 팬들의 뜨거운 떼창을 끌어내며 북미 대장정을 기분 좋게 마무리했다.

이번 북미 투어는 도시 수와 활동 반경을 모두 넓힌 아이브의 성장을 보여줬다. 2024년 첫 번째 월드 투어 '쇼 왓 아이 해브(SHOW WHAT I HAVE)'로 북미 6개 도시를 찾았던 아이브는 두 번째 투어에서 일정을 8개 도시로 확대했다. 특히 토론토, 몬트리올, 밴쿠버 등 캐나다 3개 도시를 새롭게 포함하고 전 일정을 아레나급 공연장에서 진행하며 한층 커진 글로벌 영향력을 입증했다. 지난달 21일 토론토를 시작으로 북미 투어에 나선 아이브는 몬트리올, 뉴어크, 오스틴, 로스앤젤레스, 오클랜드, 시애틀을 거쳐 밴쿠버에 도착했다. 2년 만에 다시 오른 로스앤젤레스 기아 포럼(Kia Forum)을 비롯해 북미 주요 공연장을 누비며 압도적인 라이브와 퍼포먼스로 한층 확장된 음악적 스펙트럼을 펼쳐 보였다.

밴쿠버에서 진행한 북미 투어의 마지막 밤은 강렬한 오프닝으로 시작됐다. 아이브는 '갓챠(GOTCHA)'를 시작으로 '엑스오엑스지(XOXZ)', '배디(Baddie)', '아이스 퀸(Ice Queen)', '블랙홀(BLACKHOLE)'을 연달아 선보였다. 묵직한 밴드 사운드와 정교한 군무, 화려한 특수효과가 맞물리며 공연 시작부터 열기를 끌어올렸다. 아이브는 밴쿠버를 처음 찾았다며 팬들을 만날 날을 기다렸다는 인사를 전한 뒤 'TKO', '홀리 몰리(Holy Moly)', '마이 새티스팩션(My Satisfaction)'으로 흐름을 이어갔다. 다크한 카리스마부터 밝고 화사한 분위기까지 상반된 콘셉트를 유연하게 오가며 아이브가 가진 다채로운 색깔을 보여줬다.

완전체로 다시 모인 아이브는 가을이 안무 창작에 참여한 '삐빅(♥beats)'과 댄스 브레이크로 분위기를 전환했다. 이어 '와우(WOW)', '오프 더 레코드(Off The Record)', '플루(FLU)'를 선보이며 키치한 매력과 섬세한 감성을 오갔다. 공연 후반부에는 아이브의 대표곡이 쉴 틈 없이 이어졌다. 아이브는 소속사 스타쉽엔터테인먼트를 통해 다이브와 음악으로 하나가 될 수 있어 정말 행복했다는 소감을 전했다. 처음 찾은 도시에서도 큰 함성과 떼창으로 따뜻하게 맞아준 덕분에 매 공연마다 큰 힘을 얻었다며, 다음에 다시 만날 때는 더욱 좋은 음악과 무대로 보답하겠다고 밝혔다. 이어 앞으로 남은 월드투어에서도 좋은 무대를 보여드릴 수 있도록 최선을 다해 준비하겠다며 끝까지 많은 기대와 응원을 당부했다.

한편, 북미 일정을 성공적으로 마친 아이브는 오는 9월 아시아 지역에서 '쇼 왓 아이 엠'의 열기를 이어갈 계획이다.

IVE (An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, Leeseo), an icon of the MZ generation, has successfully wrapped its North American tour.

On the 9th (local time), IVE held its second world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I AM,' at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, closing out the North American leg in style. Performing solo in Vancouver for the first time, IVE delivered a powerful live show and drew enthusiastic singalongs from local fans, bringing its North American journey to a satisfying close.

This latest North American tour showcased IVE's growth in both scale and reach. Having visited six North American cities during its first world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE,' in 2024, IVE expanded its itinerary to eight cities for its second run. Notably, the group added three new Canadian stops — Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver — and held every show at arena-level venues, demonstrating its growing global influence.

Kicking off in Toronto on the 21st of last month, IVE's North American tour continued through Montreal, Newark, Austin, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle before arriving in Vancouver. The group performed across major North American venues, including a return to LA's Kia Forum after two years, showcasing an expanded musical range through commanding live performances.

The final night of the tour in Vancouver opened with an intense start. IVE performed 'GOTCHA' followed by 'XOXZ,' 'Baddie,' 'Ice Queen,' and 'BLACKHOLE' back to back. Powerful band sound, precise choreography, and dazzling special effects combined to build excitement from the very first song.

Telling fans it was their first time in Vancouver and that they had been looking forward to meeting them, IVE continued with 'TKO,' 'Holy Moly,' and 'My Satisfaction.' The group moved fluidly between dark, charismatic concepts and bright, cheerful ones, showcasing its wide range of colors.

Solo stages from all six members added depth to the show. Jang Won-young performed '8,' a track themed around the number eight and infinity, in a red outfit with sharp, sensual choreography. Rei presented her own world of romance with 'In Your Heart,' which she wrote and composed herself, while Liz, a co-writer on the track, showed off her clear band sound and refreshing vocals on 'Unreal.'

Gaeul, who contributed to the lyrics, stage props, and visual direction, created a dreamy atmosphere with 'Odd.' Leeseo, who helped shape the lyrics and costume concept, took on a voguing performance for 'Super ICY,' while An Yu-jin brought explosive energy and confidence to 'Force,' styled around the color blue. Each member took part in writing, styling, or choreography for her solo stage, highlighting her individual charm.

Reuniting as a full group, IVE shifted the mood with '♥beats,' for which Gaeul took part in the choreography, followed by a dance break. The group then performed 'WOW,' 'Off The Record,' and 'FLU,' moving between playful charm and delicate emotion.

The latter half of the show was packed with IVE's signature hits. Starting with 'ATTITUDE,' the group performed 'LOVE DIVE,' 'REBEL HEART,' and 'I AM' back to back, prompting an enormous singalong from the crowd. The members remarked that the singing was loud enough to cut through their in-ear monitors, expressing awe at the passionate response from Vancouver's fans, known as DIVE.

'BANG BANG' closed out the main set. When An Yu-jin called on the audience to stand up and enjoy the moment together, fans rose to their feet and sang along in unison. Powerful sound, choreography, and crowd cheers merged into one, transforming Rogers Arena into a massive celebration.

For the encore, a video featuring fan-submitted dance challenge clips was played. IVE returned to the stage with 'Wild Bird,' connecting even more closely with DIVE. In the second encore, the group performed 'Supernova Love,' 'Kitsch,' and 'After LIKE' back to back, pouring out energy until the very last moment of the show.

From an intense opening and distinctive solo stages to a parade of hits and two encores, IVE performed a total of 27 songs without pause, completing the final night of its North American tour. The group commanded the stage with powerful live vocals and precise choreography while also introducing songs in English and engaging directly with local fans.

Toward the end of the show, Liz spoke in English, thanking fans for making the night unforgettable and saying that every moment with DIVE feels special no matter how many times they meet. Jang Won-young promised to finish the rest of the tour successfully and return to Vancouver again soon.

Through its agency Starship Entertainment, IVE shared that it felt truly happy to become one with DIVE through music. The group said it drew great strength from every show, including the warm welcome of loud cheers and singalongs even in cities it was visiting for the first time, and promised to repay fans with even better music and stages next time. IVE added that it would do its best to prepare great stages for the remainder of the world tour and asked fans for continued support and anticipation.

Meanwhile, having successfully wrapped its North American schedule, IVE plans to carry the momentum of 'SHOW WHAT I AM' into Asia starting this September.
