Jinho Signals Building a New Character Through the Original Musical 'Anarchist' 

Pentagon's Jinho is set to embark on a new acting transformation through the musical 'Anarchist'. On the morning of the 5th, S27M Entertainment stated, "Jinho has been confirmed to appear in the musical 'Anarchist', which opens this coming September. Taking on the role of 'Muhyeok', Jinho plans to build his own character and meet audiences with a new charm. We ask for your high expectations." The musical 'Anarchist' is an original musical depicting the convictions and friendship of three young men living ordinary lives amidst a huge vortex of history, set against the backdrop of Beijing and Shanghai, China during the Japanese colonial period. 'Muhyeok', who makes a living with an old cargo bicycle, undergoes confusion and growth as he meets 'Deok-hyeong' and 'Ja-gyeong', conveying a timeless, moving message through his determination toward a better world. This work was selected as a candidate for the Arts Council Korea's Performing Arts Creation Cradle 'New Work of the Year' in 2024, and during its premiere last year, it set overwhelming records with a 90% paid seat occupancy rate and an audience rating of 9.7 points. In particular, following the 'K-Musical Roadshow' in Tokyo, Japan, it opened a licensed performance in Shanghai, China last July, earning recognition for its artistic quality in the global market as well. 'Muhyeok', to be played by Jinho, is a character as free as the wind yet as solid as a stone. Based on his solid vocal skills and stable acting ability built through various works such as 'Black Mary Poppins', 'Shadow', 'Bare the Musical', and 'A Thousand Blues', Jinho is expected to present a highly complete stage. Meanwhile, the musical 'Anarchist' starring Jinho will be performed at YES24 Art One from September 15 to December 6.
