K-POP은 흔히 정교함의 예술이라 불린다. 완벽한 퍼포먼스, 칼군무, 그리고 흠잡을 데 없는 이상적인 모습까지. 하지만 보이즈 플래닛(Boys Planet)을 통해 탄생한 7인조 그룹 EVNNE은 그 공식을 뒤흔든다. 새 미니앨범 [HOT MESS]는 자유로운 에너지를 마음껏 발산하며, 때로는 즉흥적인 순간에서 진짜 매력이 탄생한다는 것을 증명한다. 틀에 갇히기보다는 스스로를 해방하고, 실수조차도 즐길 줄 아는 것—이것이 EVNNE이 선사하는 ‘Hot Mess Mindset’이다. 이번 앨범은 단순한 음악 그 이상, 틀을 깨고 나만의 색을 찾아가라는 강렬한 메시지다.

1. [RSK] [HOT MESS]는 언제부터 준비했나요? 그리고 이번 콘셉트와 사운드가 EVNNE에게 딱 맞는 이유는 무엇인가요?

케이타: 작년 여름이 끝나갈 때쯤부터 이번 앨범을 집중적으로 작업하기 시작했고요,

항상 다양한 모습을 보여드리고 싶다는 생각과 저희의 장점 중 하나인 자유롭고 유쾌한 에너지를 잘 담아낼 수 있을 것 같다는 느낌을 받아 이번 앨범에 그런 마음을 녹여낸 것 같습니다.

2. [RSK] 타이틀곡 <HOT MESS>는 멤버들에게 어떤 의미를 가지나요?

박한빈: 또 하나의 도전인 것 같아요. 뭔가 좀 더 통통 튀고, 가볍고, 장난기 많은 그런 것들을 도전해 본 적이 없거든요. EVNNE이라는 그룹의 다양한 색을 나타낼 수 있는 포인트가 되었으면 좋겠어요.

이정현: 저도 도전이라고 생각합니다. 제가 이렇게 장난스럽고 뭔가 익살스러운 느낌을 무대에선 보여드린 적이 없는 것 같은데 이번 기회로 처음 보여드릴 수 있어서입니다.

문정현: 이번 타이틀곡 <HOT MESS>는 저희의 전환점이라고 생각하는데요, 색다른 모습과 신기한 컨셉으로 대중분들께 색다른 EVNNE을 보여드리고 싶습니다.

3. [RSK] 승언과 지후는 <HOT MESS> 작사에 참여했어요. 이전 곡들과 비교했을 때, 이번 작업 과정이나 방식은 무엇이 달랐나요? 특히 자랑스러운 가사가 있나요?

유승언: 저는 <HOT MESS>에서 정현이 형의 파트인 ‘자꾸 끌려 네가 뭔데 왜’라는 파트를 작사했는데요, 지금 나이에 맞는 꾸밈 없는 표현과 캐릭터성 있는 가사를 쓴 것 같아서 뿌듯합니다.

박지후: 가사에 참여를 크게 하진 않았지만 ‘찌릿찌릿 간지럽혀 왜’라는 부분이 가장 마음에 듭니다. ‘찌릿찌릿’이라는 가사가 많이 없는데 이 곡에 쓰면 재밌을 것 같아서 사용해 봤습니다.

4. [RSK] 윤서는 이번 앨범 작업에 참여했는데, <Love Like That>에 담긴 이야기를 들려줄 수 있을까요?  

지윤서: 사랑에 대한 감정을 저와 저희만의 방식으로 표현하고 싶었습니다. 그래서 가사도 직설적이면서 조금 서툰 느낌으로 썼고, 최대한 몰입하고 싶어서 드라마도 학원물 같은 장르 위주로 쇼츠를 찾아보곤 했습니다. 우리 ENNVE가 <Love Like That>을 들으면서 설레고 간질거릴 수 있으면 좋겠습니다.

5. [RSK] <Love Like That>은 사랑을 주제로 한 곡인데요. 멤버끼리 서로 가장 좋아하는 점을 하나씩 말해볼 수 있을까요?  

케이타: 한빈이는 항상 무대 위에서 놀 때 사람들에게 하나라도 뭔가 새롭거나 생각 못 한 다양한 모습을 보여주려고 하는 자세와 그걸 실현해 내는 아이디어나 능력, 그리고 무대에서 나오는 끼가 매력인 동시에 엄청난 장점인 것 같습니다.

박한빈: (이정현의) 입술인 것 같아요. 튀어나온 입술이 어떨 때 보면 엄청 귀엽게 느껴질 때가 있거든요. 잘 때 항상 내밀고 자는 것 같아서 가끔 오리같이 보이기도 해요.

이정현: 승언이는 쿨한 점이 가장 사랑스럽습니다. 어떤 일이든 깊이 생각하지 않고 긍정적인 마인드를 가지고 있는 점이 가장 좋습니다.

유승언: (윤서는) 뭐든 가지고 다니는 준비성에 멤버들이 덕을 볼 때가 많습니다.

지윤서: 정현이는 항상 상대에게 맞춰주려고 하는 배려심이 넘치는 친구입니다. 저 또한 그런 성격인데 정현이는 언제 어디서나 맞춰주고 배려하는 성격이라 저도 많이 배우는 것 같습니다.

문정현: 저는 우리 막내 지후의 털털함을 사랑하는데요, 힘든 일이나 안 좋은 상황이 생기더라도 절대 부정적으로 생각하지 않고 어떻게든 헤쳐 나가는 모습을 저는 사랑합니다.

박지후: 이타형의 CHILL한 성격을 좋아합니다!

6. [RSK] <Youth>는 젊음과 꿈을 좇는 여정을 담은 곡입니다. 연습생 시절이나 데뷔 초를 돌아봤을 때, 그립다거나 다시 경험하고 싶은 순간이 있나요?

박한빈: 연습생을 처음 시작했던 시기입니다. 그만한 설렘과 떨림, 그리고 평가를 앞둔 긴장감은 지금 느낄 수 없는 감정인 것 같아요. 그 당시에는 모든 게 신기하고 재밌고 더 잘하고 싶은 마음이 컸었던 것 같아요.

이정현: 사실 현재 너무 좋은 멤버들과 사람들과 함께 하루하루를 나아가고 있기에 그립거나 다시 돌아가고 싶은 순간은 없지만, 기억에 남아있는 소중했던 순간을 고르자면 연습생 때의 끊임없이 노력하고 도전했던 모습이 가장 소중하고 아름다웠다고 생각합니다.

7. [RSK] 케이타는 한국어 버전의 <KESHIKI> 가사를 직접 썼는데요. 이 곡을 새롭게 각색하는 과정은 어땠나요? 작업하면서 겪은 어려움이나 변화가 있었다면 들려주세요.  

케이타: 두 언어로 곡을 만들 때 제일 신경 썼던 부분이 가사적 표현이었는데 내가 전하고 싶은 메시지와 발음에서 나오는 곡 분위기 두 가지를 살리면서 작업을 하는 게 제일 어려웠습니다. 하지만, 이 기회를 통해 더 다양한 표현법에 대해서 연구하게 되었고 많이 배운 것 같아서 좋았습니다.

8. [RSK] 곡 작업을 하는 멤버들에게 묻고 싶어요. 여러분의 창작 과정은 체계적인 편인가요, 아니면 완전한 ‘혼돈(HOT MESS)’에 가까운가요?  

케이타: 저는 항상 ‘HOT MESS’에 가까워서 그때 느끼는 감정도 다르고, 오늘과 내일의 감정도 다른 편인데요, 그래서 그 순간에만 나올 수 있는 감정에 많이 집중하는 편입니다.

이정현: 보통 프리스타일로 만들어 보면서 가사 작업도 상당히 프리하게 작업하는 스타일이라서 ‘HOT MESS’에 가깝다고 생각합니다.

유승언: 저는 ‘HOT MESS’인 것 같습니다. 벌스가 잘 안 나오면 후렴 작업을 먼저 하고 후렴이 안 나오면 브릿지 작업을 하면서 여기저기, 왔다 갔다 하면서 조금씩 퍼즐을 맞춰가는 스타일인 것 같습니다.

지윤서: 저는 좀 더 ‘HOT MESS’하게 작업하는 것 같습니다. 성격은 계획적이고 깔끔한 편이지만 작업을 하는 그 순간에는 최대한 눈, 귀, 그리고 머리를 열어두고 작업하기 때문에 오히려 더 혼란스러워지는 것 같고 그 안에서 퍼즐을 찾고 맞추듯 직업을 하는 편인 것 같습니다.

박지후: 전 상황에 따라 다르겠지만 비트를 쓸 때는 레퍼런스를 잡고 작업에 몰두하기 때문에 계획적인 편에 더 가까운 것 같습니다.

9. [RSK] 이번 앨범을 만들면서 영감을 준 곡이나 아티스트가 있나요?  

케이타: 저는 <KESHIKI>를 만들면서 J-Pop을 많이 들었고요, 특히 ‘ONE OK ROCK’이라는 아티스트의 음악을 많이 듣고 생각을 한 것 같아요.

유승언: 제가 직접 작사한 <Youth>라는 곡은 사실 OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM의 콘서트를 보고 돌아와서 쓴 가사입니다. 공연을 보고 돌아오니 저도 음악을 통해 팬분들께 메시지를 전하고 싶다는 생각이 강하게 들어서 가사를 쓰게 되었습니다. 그래서인지 어려운 말보다는 제가 정말 하고 싶은 말을 담백하게 썼고, 그러다 보니 자연스레 가사가 탄생했습니다!

10. [RSK] 지난여름, 첫 미국 투어를 성공적으로 마쳤죠. 투어 전과 후를 비교했을 때, 스스로 가장 달라진 점은 무엇인가요? 이번 투어를 통해 자신에 대해 새롭게 알게 된 점이 있다면요?  

박한빈: 공연을 하면 앞에서 봐주시는 팬분들의 성향에 따라 우리가 보여드리는 무대의 모습들도 다양해지는 만큼 아메리카 투어를 통해서 배운 건 소통과 에너지인 것 같아요. 팬분들이 무대를 대하는 모습들이 워낙 열정적이었고 그대로 표현하고 응원해 주는 모습들이 신기하고 감동적이었어요. 조금 더 저 자신을 무대 위에서 꺼낼 수 있게 해준 시간이에요.

문정현: 투어 전후로 정말 많이 성장했다고 생각합니다. 무대를 통해 느낀 점도 많지만 무대를 함께 하는 멤버들을 통해서도 배운 점이 많다고 생각해요. 앞으로도 더 많은 지역에 방문하여 저희의 무대를 보여드리고, 저희도 더 배울 기회가 생겼으면 좋겠습니다.

11. [RSK] 투어에서 가장 기억에 남는 순간은 언제였나요? 또 투어 중 해보고 싶었던 것—가보고 싶은 곳, 해보고 싶은 경험, 먹어보고 싶었던 음식—을 이뤄낸 게 있나요?  

이정현: 투어를 다니면서 하고 싶었던 일들이나 먹고 싶은 음식은 거의 다 도전해 본 것 같습니다. 

가장 기억에 남는 순간들은 매 공연의 첫 무대입니다. 조명이 켜지고 노래가 시작될 때, 관객들의 환호를 듣고, 두 눈으로 ENNVE분들을 바라보던 그 순간이 가장 행복했던 것 같습니다.

유승언: 투어를 하며 자유롭게 공연을 즐기는 분위기와 공연 매너를 배우게 되었습니다. 그리고 넓은 세상을 경험하며 ‘아, 세상에는 정말 수많은 사람이 있고 각자 다르지만 함께 더불어 살아가는구나’라는 것을 깨달았습니다. 덕분에 더 넓은 시야로 세상을 바라볼 수 있게 되었고 큰 영감과 잊지 못할 추억이 되었다고 생각합니다.

박지후: 전 캐나다의 몬트리올이 가장 좋았습니다. 저희 아메리카 투어의 첫 공연 도시이기도 했고 호텔 문을 열고 밖으로 나가면 느껴지는 공기나 온도, 바람 등 모든 게 너무나 좋았습니다.

12. [RSK] 투어에서 특별한 기념품을 가져온 것이 있나요?

케이타: 투어 중에 Nerds Gummy Clusters에 빠져서 많이 사 왔는데 너무 빨리 다 먹어버려서 아쉽고 지금도 생각이 납니다. (웃음)

지윤서: 저는 기념품보다는 저한테 필요한 것들을 더 많이 산 것 같습니다.

문정현: 저는 투어를 나가면 주로 간식들을 많이 사는 편인데요, 특히 일본에 정말 맛있는 간식들이 많이 있으니 추천해 드립니다!

13. [RSK] 새해 목표를 세웠다면, 어떤 것들이 있나요?

케이타: 좀 더 자주 밖에 나가서 최대한 많이 하늘을 올려보며 살기입니다! (웃음)

박한빈: 외국어 공부하기랑 책을 좀 더 많이 읽기입니다!

이정현: 연기에 관심이 많아서 중요하지 않은 역할이라도 드라마나 영화 등에 꼭 출연해 경험을 쌓아보고 싶습니다.

유승언: 운동 꾸준히 해서 건강하기, OST 참여하기, 공중파 예능 출연하기, 그리고 음악방송 1위 정도가 있는 것 같습니다.

지윤서: 최근에 지후에게 자극을 받아 2025 다이어리를 구매해서 일기를 다시 쓰고 있는데요, 앞으로 더 열심히 쓸 예정입니다. 그리고 항상 말하는 것 같은데 저 자신을 더 아끼고 사랑해 주고 싶고, 제 주변 사람들에게, 그리고 ENNVE에게 더 표현하기로 마음을 먹었습니다.

문정현: 저는 올해부터 MIDI를 배우기 시작했는데요, 이제 막 시작한 만큼 아직 미숙한 저의 실력을 올해 안에 어느 정도 끌어 올릴 수 있으면 좋겠습니다.

박지후: 올해는 책을 10권 이상 읽어 보고, 또 제가 만든 곡으로 무대를 해보고 싶습니다.

14. [RSK] 저는 올해 영화를 더 많이 보는 게 목표예요. 최근에 본 좋은 영화가 있나요? 그리고 이번 앨범의 곡 중 하나를 유명 영화 OST에 넣을 수 있다면 어떤 곡을 고르고 싶은가요?

이정현: 저는 이번 수록곡 중 <CROWN>이 토르 시리즈에 엄청 잘 어울릴 것 같은데요, <CROWN>의 강렬한 사운드가 모든 걸 때려부수는 토르의 액션감과 잘 어울릴 것 같습니다!

문정현: 저는 이번 앨범 타이틀곡 <HOT MESS>를 <위키드>라는 영화에서 두 친구가 가까워지기 전 어지러운 상황에 삽입해 보고 싶네요. 잘 어울릴 것 같지 않나요?

박지후: 전 <포레스트 검프>라는 영화에 <Love Like That>이라는 노래를 추천하고 싶습니다.

15. [RSK] 그룹으로서 새롭게 이루고 싶은 목표가 있다면요?

이정현: 우선 이번 앨범으로 음악방송 1위를 하는 게 가장 눈앞에 있는 목표인 것 같기는 해요. 저희가 <UGLY>로 음악방송 1위를 한지도 1년이나 된 만큼 <HOT MESS>로 다시 한번 1위를 할 수 있으면 저희에게도, 그리고 저희 팬분들에게도 매우 큰 힘이 될 것 같아요.

문정현: 그리고 곧 다가오는 저희 ‘2025 EVNNE CONCERT SET N GO’도 무사히 마무리할 수 있었으면 좋겠어요. 저희 EVNNE의 첫 콘서트이기도 하고, 오랜만에 팬분들 앞에 서는 공연이기도 한 만큼 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 무대를 펼치되, 별 탈 없이 잘 마무리할 수 있기를 바라요.

16. [RSK] (인터뷰일 기준) 마지막으로, 새해를 맞이하며 밸런타인데이를 앞둔 팬들에게 전하고 싶은 메시지가 있다면요? 

EVNNE: ENNVE 여러분! 저희가 미니앨범 4집 [HOT MESS]로 여러분들을 다시 찾아뵙게 되었습니다! 이번 앨범에는 <Birthday>, <Youth> 등 저희가 하고 싶었던 말과 여러분을 위한 마음이 듬뿍 담긴 곡들로 가득 차 있으니 밸런타인데이에도, 그리고 그 이후로도 많이 들어주시고, 다가오는 저희 콘서트를 포함한 앞으로의 활동도 많은 기대 부탁드려요!

EVNNE Wants You to Cut Loose—Welcome to the Hot Mess Mindset

K-pop is a world often defined by meticulous precision—flawless performances, razor-sharp choreography, a near-unattainable ideal of perfection. EVNNE, the seven-member force born from Boys Planet, arrives to disrupt that very notion. Their latest mini-album, Hot Mess, embraces the exhilarating rush of chaos, demonstrating that true magic often ignites in moments of abandon. Rather than adhering to rigid boundaries, EVNNE champions spontaneity, celebrates imperfections, and revels in the uninhibited joy of simply letting loose. Hot Mess isn't just an album; it's a call to color outside the lines.


1. [RSK] How long has “Hot Mess” been in development, and why was this the right concept and sound for the group’s next step?

Keita: We started working on this album at the end of last summer. We created this album with the desire to show our fans various sides of us and with confidence that it would seamlessly blend our free-spirited and pleasant energy.

2. [RSK] What does the title track, “Hot Mess,” mean to you personally?

Park Hanbin: It’s another challenge for us. We have never tried something so cheery, light, and playful. I hope this can be a defining point that represents the various colors of EVNNE.

Lee Jeonghyeon: I also think it is a challenge. I don’t think I have ever shown myself to be so playful and comical on stage, but this is my first opportunity to do so.

Mun Junghyun: I think the title song “HOT MESS” is a turning point for us. We want to show the public and the audience a different side of EVNNE through an interesting impression and a fresh concept.

3. [RSK] Seungeon and Jihoo, you wrote lyrics for “Hot Mess.” How did your process and approach differ from your previous songs? Is there a lyric you’re especially proud of? 

Yoo Seungeon: I wrote the lyrics for Lee Jeonghyeon’s part, ‘자꾸 끌려 네가 뭔데 왜’ (What are you to keep drawing me in) in “HOT MESS.” I’m proud that I wrote such characterful, unembellished lyrics that suit our age.

Park Jihoo: I didn’t participate much in writing the lyrics, but I like the part ‘찌릿찌릿 간지럽혀 왜’ (Why does it tingle like I’ve been zapped). There aren’t many lyrics that include the word ‘tingle,’ and I thought it would be fun to use it in this song.

4. [RSK] Yunseo, you also helped write on this album. Can you share the story behind the song “Love Like That”?

Ji Yunseo: I wanted to express my feelings about love in our own way. I intentionally wrote the lyrics in a straightforward and slightly inept manner. I also wanted to immerse myself in that feeling as much as possible, so I purposely watched dramas and short content with school themes. I hope our fans, ENNVE, can experience the feeling of butterflies in their stomachs by listening to “Love Like That.”

5. [RSK] “Love Like That” explores themes of love. Can each of you share one quality you love most about another member?

Keita: Hanbin always tries to show the audience something new or unexpected on stage. His ideas, his ability to act upon them, and his charm on stage are very impressive. I believe those are also his biggest strengths.

Park Hanbin: I like Lee Jeonghyeon’s lips. His protruding lips sometimes look very cute. He sometimes looks like a duck when he sleeps and puts out his lips even more.

Lee Jeonghyeon: I adore Seungeon’s cool personality. I love how he maintains an optimistic mindset without overthinking.

Yoo Seungeon: The members often benefit from Yunseo’s preparedness in carrying everything around.

Ji Yunseo: Junghyun is a very respectful and caring person who always tries to make others feel comfortable. I’m also like that, but I still learn a lot from the way Junghyun respects others in every situation.

Mun Junghyun: I like our maknae Jihoo’s easy-going personality. I admire how he stays optimistic even during hard times and always finds a way to overcome challenges.

Park Jihoo: I like Keita’s chill personality!

6. [RSK] “Youth” reflects on the journey of being young and chasing dreams. Looking back on your trainee days or debut, is there something you miss or wish you could revisit from that time of youth?

Park Hanbin: I would say the first time I became a trainee. The exhilaration, the nervousness, and the worry I felt before evaluations are emotions I can never experience again. At that time, everything was interesting and fun, and I eagerly wanted to perform better.

Lee Jeonghyeon: Actually, I am growing day by day with such great members, so I don’t miss or want to go back to any moment. If I were to pick a precious moment, though, it would be how we constantly challenged ourselves when we were trainees.

7. [RSK] Keita, you wrote the Korean lyrics for the Korean version of “KESHIKI.” How was the experience of adapting the song, and what challenges or changes did you face?

Keita: I was most concerned about the lyrical expressions when writing the song in two languages. The biggest challenge was maintaining the tone and pronunciation of the song while ensuring it conveyed the intended message. I took this opportunity to closely study and learn more about diverse expressions.

8. [RSK] For those who write songs, would you say your creative process is more organized or more of a “hot mess”?

Keita: I’m always more of a “hot mess.” My emotions can change from day to day, so I try to focus on the emotion of the moment.

Lee Jeonghyeon: I’m closer to being a “hot mess” because I usually create songs in freestyle and work on the lyrics freely as well.

Yoo Seungeon: I believe I’m a hot mess. If I can’t come up with a good verse, I work on the chorus first. If the chorus isn’t working, I focus on the bridge. I jump back and forth, fitting the pieces together like a puzzle.

Ji Yunseo: I tend to work more like a “hot mess” when writing songs. I’m usually organized and like to plan things ahead, but when I write songs, I try to keep my eyes, ears, and mind open, which sometimes makes me more confused. Within that confusion, I try to find and fit the pieces together like a puzzle.

Park Jihoo: It depends on the situation, but when I write a beat, I’m more organized. I jump into songwriting with a clear reference.

9. [RSK] Were there any songs or artists that inspired you during the making of this album?

Keita: I listened to a lot of J-Pop while making ‘KESHIKI.’ I especially listened to music by ONE OK ROCK a lot and spent time reflecting.

Yoo Seungeon: I actually wrote the lyrics for “Youth” after attending a concert by OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM. After the concert, I felt a strong urge to convey a message to my fans. The lyrics reflect what I truly wanted to say simply, rather than being just a collection of complex words, which is why they feel so natural and organic.

10. [RSK] Over the summer, you completed your first U.S. tour. How would you describe yourselves before the tour versus after? What did you learn about yourselves?

Park Hanbin: The sides we show the audience when we perform vary based on the fans’ reactions. During this U.S. tour, I think we learned a lot about communication and energy. The fans were incredibly passionate about our performances, and it was truly touching to see them cheering for us. This experience allowed me to fully express myself on stage.

Mun Junghyun: We’ve grown tremendously throughout the tour. Not only did we learn a lot from our performances, but we also learned so much from one another on stage. I hope we get the opportunity to visit more cities in the future, perform, and continue learning from each experience.

11. [RSK] What moments from the tour stand out the most? Did you check off anything on your bucket list—things to see, do, or eat?

Lee Jeonghyeon: I’ve tried almost everything I wanted to do and eat on this tour. The most memorable moments were the first performances of each concert. Hearing the audience’s cheers when the lights turned on and the music began, and seeing ENNVE with my own eyes were the happiest moments.

Yoo Seungeon: Through this tour, I learned how to freely enjoy performances while maintaining proper stage etiquette. Experiencing the vast world, I realized, “There are so many diverse people in this world, yet they all manage to live together in harmony.” This tour gave me a broader perspective on life and has become a great source of inspiration, as well as a precious and unforgettable memory.

Park Jihoo: I loved Montreal, Canada, the most. It was the first city of our American tour, and I loved the fresh air, the temperature, and the breeze I felt when I stepped outside the hotel.

12. [RSK] Did you bring back any memorable souvenirs from the tour?

Keita: I fell in love with Nerds Gummy Clusters on the last tour. I bought a lot and brought them back, but I ate them all too quickly. I keep thinking about them. (laughs)

Ji Yunseo: I think I bought more things I need than actual souvenirs.

Mun Junghyun: I usually buy a lot of snacks when I go on tour. I especially recommend Japanese snacks, they’re very good!

13. [RSK] If you’ve made New Year’s resolutions, what are they?

Keita: I hope to go out more often and look up at the sky as much as I can! (laughs)

Park Hanbin: Studying foreign languages and reading more books!

Lee Jeonghyeon: I’m very interested in acting, so I’d love to be in a drama or a movie, even if it’s just a minor role, to gain experience.

Yoo Seungeon: I want to work out consistently to stay healthy, participate in OSTs, appear on TV variety shows, and win first place on music programs.

Ji Yunseo: Inspired by Jihoo, I recently bought a diary for 2025 and have started writing in it. I plan to keep writing more consistently. Also, I think I always say this, but I want to love myself more and express more love to my surroundings and ENNVE.

Mun Junghyun: I started learning MIDI this year, and I hope to get better at it since I’m just a beginner right now.

Park Jihoo: This year, I hope to read more than 10 books and perform with songs I’ve written.

14. [RSK] One of mine is to watch more movies. Have you seen any good films recently? If you could add a song from this album to an iconic movie’s OST, which would you choose and why?

Lee Jeonghyeon - I think "CROWN" from our new album would suit the Thor series well. The track's powerful sound will be aligned with Thor's tough action sequences!

Mun Junghyun: I’d love to play “HOT MESS” in the movie Wicked, especially during the dizzy scene before the two friends get close. Don’t you think it would go well together?

Park Jihoo: I would recommend the song “Love Like That” in the movie Forrest Gump.

15. [RSK] What new goals do you have as a group?

Lee Jeonghyeon: First of all, our imminent goal is to win first place on music shows. It’s been a year since we won first place with “UGLY,” and I think if we could win first place again, it would mean so much to us and our fans.

Mun Junghyun: I hope we can successfully wrap up our upcoming concert, ‘2025 EVNNE CONCERT SET N GO.’ It’s EVNNE’s first concert, and it has been a while since we performed in front of our fans. I hope we can put on a show that everyone can enjoy and finish without running into any issues.

16. [RSK] (as of the interview date) Finally, do you have a message for your fans as we welcome the new year and celebrate Valentine’s Day.

EVNNE: ENNVE! We’re back with our fourth mini album, [HOT MESS]! This album is filled with the messages we wanted to deliver, such as messages from “Birthday” and “Youth,” as well as our love for you.
